Combining speed and technology, Dixie’s 4 and 6 color presses run at speeds up to 15,000 sheets per hour. From the initial settings on the control console to the pressman’s skilled adjustments, quality is paramount each layout is checked for color fidelity and registration.
Dixie transfers the plate production information via computer to the press, allowing fast and accurate make- ready. The semiautomatic plate changers, automatic plate cleaning systems, and separate unit control allows fast changes and quick press make-ready. The jobs are saved on press on the computer hard drive for subsequent runs, assuring job-to-job print consistency.
