Dixie Completes Air Conditioning Update

Kevin Kollman, Chief Operating Officer, of Dixie Printing & Packaging, LLC announces the installation of two new 80 ton HVAC units by Trane Systems.

The new units are designed to improve the plant cooling while at the same time reducing the Kilowatt hours required to maintain a comfortable working atmosphere. Kollman estimated that the new units would reduce electric demand for plant cooling by 25% and make the plant a more responsible environmental steward.

President Newth Morris commented that this is a significant investment in maintaining an attractive work atmosphere that will reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to the overall sustainability of Dixie.
